The Future of Education is Agape Christian School

Most of our parents know us by the name Kidz-Teen Town, but since we are striving to incorporate a complete learning environment for children, we are branching off to open a private school. Kidz-Teen Town after school program and summer camp was the foundation of the ministry that is now called Agape Ministries and Performing Arts Center. There will be a private school of like name opening in August of 2009, Agape Christian School of the Performing Arts.

We provide a positive, safe and loving Christian based educational environment where children are empowered with skills and tools that endeavors excellence, fosters personal growth and maximizes personal talents. To this end, at Agape Ministries we provide a nurturing atmosphere that emphasizes Godly stewardship, personal integrity and accountability, excellence in execution and high self esteem.

Agape Ministries and Performing Arts Center is a ministry that loves and care about children. We strive to provide the best child care services to our families in the area. Our heart is to please God first, and then our families. We want to be an extension of your home. Therefore, we pray with the children daily, teach them scriptures, moral values, and sing Christian songs with them. Child care services are offered year round from 7:00 am - 11:00 pm. We invite you to become a part of our family!

In the summer of 2006, the director Andrea G. Ramseur, a former educator, singer, published author and seminar host, had a desire to help students excel in school and offer a service that would help them with homework. She also wanted to offer a place where children could come and be loved, feel safe, and learn self respect. Because of the success of the after-school program and summer camp, Ms. Ramseur has decided to open a performing arts school which is scheduled to open in August 2009. Agape Ministries is open to all children grades K5 - 8th.

Social Skills: We provide a structured and safe environment that stresses responsible behavior, respect for others, and a positive attitude for all students.

Emotional Development: We provide an environment where students are taught confidence through positive interaction with their peers as well as the staff. Students are also taught skills and tools that build confidence through learning and creative expression.

Physical Development: We provide physical fitness activities that teach students about the importance of being physically fit. Our routine field trips are designed to help keep the students physically active and healthy.
